Care and Enclosure Requirements;
- Temperature: 18°C to 26°C (68°F to 79°F), operating comfortably at standard room temperatures.
- Humidity & Moisture: Prefers a drier, well-ventilated setup overall with a humidity gradient . Keep most of the enclosure dry, but provide one permanently moist corner (such as a moss-filled hide). Excess global humidity can cause fatal moulting problems.
- Substrate & Decor: Humus-rich soil mixed with sand or clay, backed by an abundance of decaying leaf litter, white-rotted wood, and cork bark pieces.
- Diet: Decaying wood, leaf litter, calcium supplements (like cuttlebone or crushed eggshells), and occasional protein sources like fish flakes or dried insects.
