(Porcellio laevis ‘crystal white’)
Crystal White isopods ( Porcellio laevis ‘Crystal White’) are a hardy, all-white color morph selectively bred from the popular “Dairy Cow” Porcellio laevis line to remove all dark spots.
Adult size up to 2cm+,another very easy species to establish!
Care & Husbandry
- Temperature: 18°C – 26°C.
- Humidity: 55% – 75% with a moisture gradient (keep one side damp with sphagnum moss and the other side drier)
- Enclosure: A starter tub around 20 x 15 x 15 cm works well.
- Diet: Omnivorous; they eat hardwood leaf litter, rotten wood, vegetables, and high-protein supplements (like fish food or dried shrimp) 1–2 times a week.
- Calcium: Constant access to cuttlefish bone or limestone is essential.
